Objetives of the Course of Studies:

The main objective of the MSc in Neuroscience is to train qualified and updated scientific human resources, who are able to orientate themselves towards continuous training in the area of knowledge that involves the structure, function and regulation of the nervous system in the broadest sense. Specifically, the MSc program aims to develop a multidisciplinary approach that includes molecular, cellular, physiological, behavioral, cognitive and pathological aspects. At the same time, it aims to provide interdisciplinary knowledge (from Molecular Biology to Cognitive and Neuroimaging Studies), so that future researchers can tackle the problems in a translational manner and incorporate themselves into laboratories of public and private institutions. Another objective of the posgraduate course is to apply scientific methods, creative thinking, logical and critical, update molecular, cellular, neurophysiological and clinical knowledge to aspects such as the understanding, prevention or treatment of diseases that affect to the nervous system.
